Gorky popup.description2 Subject: 96 patients with chronic relapsing pancreatitis, from 16 to 75 years old, which were observed during 2000-2003 years. Aim: improvement of treatment efficacy for chronic relapsing pancreatitis on the basis of deepening of knowledge concerning Helicobacter pylori infection on the clinico-pathogenetic peculiarities of the disease. Results: Helicobacter pylori infection was determined in 86,5% of the patients with chronic relapsing pancreatitis. These patients had significantly manifested clinical picture of the disease, functional and structural changes of pancreas; Helicobacter pylori promotes progressing of pancreatic excretory insufficiency and erosive or ulcerative changes of gastroduodenal mucosa or increased gastric secretion as well. Prescribing of antihelicobacter therapy results in clinical relief. Innovation: in chronic relapsing pancreatitis there is met frequent and significant infication of patients with Helicobacter pylori. In this case there was observed increase in manifestations of the disease clinical picture and of pancreas excretory disorders, sonographic signs, more expressed incidence of hyperacidity and erosive and ulcerative changes of gastric and duodenal mucosa; revealed morphological changes of gastric and duodenal mucosa in Helicobacter pylori positive patients. We worked out and apply the original scheme of antihelicobacter treatment for Helicobacter pylori positive patients with chronic relapsing pancreatitis. Effectiveness: decreasing of treatment terms for chronic relapsing pancreatitis exacerbation on 1,5-2 days.Application Branch: in gastroenterologic and therapeutic departments of city, regional hospitals and pedagogic process of medical universities, medical research institutes of therapy and gastroenterology.
