Gorky popup.description2 OBJECT of RESEARCH: The 108 patients 70 years old and older with chronic heart failure in screening and 8 patients according to criterias of the research ewre enroled in the prospective study. PURPOSE of RESEACH: increase of life quality, achieve regress and/or delay of heart disease progression, decrease of frequency of mortality and rehospitalizations due to chronic heart failure. METHODS: clinical, biochemical, bibliographic, statistical. RESULTS: decrease of frequency total and cardiovascular death, fatal arrhythmias, total number of death and hospitalizations. NOVELTY: definition of life quality, heart failure progression, frequency of rehospitalization, mortality of in patients with heart failure in randomized multicenter double-blind placebo-controlled study. EFFICIENCY: decreasing of frequency total death at 15 %, fatal arrhythmias at 20 %, cardiovascular mortality at 17,1 %, total number of cardiovascular death and rehospitalization ar 23,2 %.
