It was determined, that in patients in an acute fase of diphtheria the immune status was characterized by deficiency of the majority of cellular immunity parameters and increase of humorol immunity parameters. The changes in the immune status did not depend on a sex of the patients, however in women, the degree of increase of IgM and zero cells was higher than in men. The comparison of immunological parameters in patients with diphtheria and Corynebacterium diphtheria carriers had shown authentic identity of cellular and humoral immunity change.
