I., Registration Date 04-02-2003 Organization Ukrainian SRI of Clinical and Experimental Neurology and Psychiatry popup.description2 This research wаs focused on studying of influence of atmospheric electromagnetic signals of low frequency (AEMSLF) and changes of background of natural electromagnetic field (EMF) on functional state of central nervous system (GNS) as well as on state of varcular system and psychical processes in 635 healthy adults and 189 patients with mental and neurologic diseases. Clinical, electrophysiological and psychological investigations were carri ed out. Data about non-specific nature of EEG--reactions to storm impulses as well as data about dependence of guantitative and qualitative chan ges of spectrogrammes on functional state of GNS and on tension and frequency of EMF were obtained. Features of cerebral electogenesis and changes of cerebral and peripheral haemodynamics in dependence on fluctuations of natural EMF (according to K-index) were revealed. Phenomenon of abnormal sensitivity to me teorological factors in patients and healthy people was studied. Freguency of heightened sensitivity to meteorological influences as well as types of pathological reactions in this group of patients in dependence on their vegetative tone were exhibited.
