The purpose of this paper is the research of onomatological lexicography that is fixed in the territory of Ukraine, its comprehensive study and scientific analysis. As result of the scientific work is the cycle of dictionaries in field of hydronymy, etymology, antroponymy etc. There are series of analysis procedures of onomatological lexics in process of scientific investigation were elaborated; the structure of lexical article of hydronyms and ethnonyms describing was tested, and the new materials replenished onomastical card index also. There are conclusions of the scientific investigation will become to further research and can be used in preparation of dictionaries, writing of articles, monographs and special courses, holding of seminars in field of onomatology, history, linguistics and other sciences too.
