Research purpose is to develop a procedure for calculating effects of dynamic factors of the spacecraft motion on resolution of the Earth sensing, to perform calculations as well as to work out recommendations concerning a desirable resolution for the Earth sensing. Research methods are as follows: information-analytical technique, mathematical modeling, methods of theoretical mechanics, optics, vector and tensor analysis. A general model to calculate and analyze the sliding velocity of an optical image during the Earth sensing is created. Relationships for determining the influence of various cinematic factors on the image motion as well as a velocity of the ground-trace motion for the unit cell of an charge coupled device are obtained. Relationship between a given model and dynamic equations of the spacecraft motion are obtained. Main relationships between dynamic, cinematic parameters of the spacecraft motion and performance of the sensing system are obtained. Evaluation of this performance is calculated to attain the sensing resolution within 1 m. Mathematical model of the spacecraft dynamics is developed having regard to the imperfection of electrically-powered flywheel effectors. General model of the spacecraft dynamics is developed and the computer program is realized. Applications - choosing the system parameters in the design of spacecraft for the Earth remote sensing.
