According to contract № 35-02/31- PR of 01 March 2002 "Development of System of classifications for the System of National Accounts" in March-April (stage I) a design specification for classification of individual consumption by purpose was elaborated and coordinated with the Customer. In particular a definite version of COICOP was determined as an international standard for the development of a national classification. In May-June (stage II) a draft Classification of individual consumption by purpose (first version), was designed. COICOP as an international standard for the national classification was translated into Ukrainian. A draft Classification by COICOP sections (version I) was designed. In July-September (stage III) a draft Classification of individual consumption by purpose (based on COICOP) was developed. A draft Classification (version I) was coordinated with the Customer. Remarks and propositions from Derzhkomstat divisions were accumulated.
