Data are obtained about interrelation between deposite metal composition, welding thermal cycles, level of a stressed state and delayed fracture of joints. Critical levels of welding stresses influencing the formation of transverse and longitudinal cracks in the joints are established. Technological recommemdations have been developed for reducing residual stresses injoints which are used in welding critical structures.
