The main aim of this work — realization of theoretical and experimental researches of the mechanism of the excited state proton transfer (ESIPT) and its influence onto the spectral properties of phototautometric forms of amino-imino coumarins, flavonols and oxazoles/oxadiazoles of a chain structure. On the basis of the investigated ESIPT mechanism, the synthesis of compounds, which have the improved spectral characteristics, and for which the practical use and fast introduction in practice as fluorescent probes in biochemistry, biophysics and medicine, will be carried out. Realization of research above-mentioned compounds in biological objects — cell membranes and their artificial models — liposomes and micelles is planned as well. The analytical techniques for application of the investigated compounds as fluorescent probes will be developed. The excited state proton transfer reaction in systematic series of oxazole, oxadiazole and flavone derivatives with intramolecular hydrogen bond is investigated. The quantum-chemical modeling is carried out. The interrelation between the structure of organic molecules, for which the reaction of the excited state proton transfer is possible, and rates of the basic primary physico-chemical processes, which determine the formation of the specific optical characteristics of these compounds, is revealed.
