The goal of investigations - designing more precise mathematical models, algorithms and computer programs for analysis of electromagnetic fields in all the observation regions of the linear wire antennas of arbitrary length, waveguide, horm and slot radiators, sharpdirectional reflector antennas, and also linear, ring and corner antenna arrays, more precise definition of the near and far region limits. The techniques of investigations- strict methods of solving the boundary problems of electrodynamics, computer analysis, experiment. Investigation results. The more precise technique of calculating and analyzing the electromagnetic fields of arbitrary length wire antennas, which are placed in the free space or in absorbing media, and also in presence of the screen of different shape, was worked out. Limits of the applicability of the theory of Hertz dipole to the calculation of electrically short linear antennas were established. The effect of decreasing the near region length of resonance wire antennas was detected. The technique of calculating the amplitude and phase characteristics of fields in the near region of the open end of the circular waveguide which are irradiator near fields on the reflector antenna characteristics were established. The technique of the reconstruction of the antenna pattern by the measurement of spatial - and - time parameters of multyfrequency and pulse signals in the near region of an antenna was designed. The determination method of the amplitude -and phase distribution in the aperture of the scanning phased antenna arrays was proposed. On the basis of designed mathematical models regularities of forming the spatial distribution of all the electromagnetic field components and the field power in the near region of the linear, ring and corner arrays of Hertz dipole were studied. Results of the SRW will be recommended for use in Institutes of the National Academy of Science and in the scientifical- and industrial organizations, in which the radioelectronic systems (involving the systems for monitoring the environment, TV-systems, communication systems, medical -and - dyagnostic apparatures etc.) are designed, for solving problems of increasing efficiency of antennas, decreasing the influence of power radars on the environment and the influence mobile radiophones on the man brain.
