Object of research are social classes which are carriers of essential social inequalities in life chances, and also existing tendencies of structurization of social classes in post-Communist Ukrainian society. The purpose of research: studying of features of production, reproduction and structurization of social identities and social classes during the post-Soviet transformation of Ukrainian society. Research methods: scientific methods of the analysis and synthesis, comparison and analogy, induction and deduction, statistical methods of the analysis of the initial and secondary empirical sociological data, the analysis of the statistical data. Process of structurization of post-Communist Ukrainian society is analyzed as display of self-organizing process in a transforming society in which active and structural potentials, social forces and social actors embodying them, which structures social space by the own practices, self-produce, collect and reproduce. The active-structural concept of social class structurization is developed and applied. Empirical research of a processes social structurization at a macro-level of social interaction is carried out. The following research conclusions were made on the basis of the empirical data analysis: about two-phase character of Ukrainian society transformation, about process of active ordering of social space which began at the end of the 90s years, about becoming of a new power class in Ukrainian society and display of four classes on a mezo-level of social interaction, about display of reverse effects during social structurization which create the dual character of post-Communist social structure.
