The hybrid zygotes differed from parental forms. The quantity of the nucleus-to-nucleolus ratio may be used as integral index for characterization of the cell functional state, because it correlates with intensity of the RNA synthesis. The varieties of durum wheat differed for the ability to integrate of the alien genetic information from wild relatives, in particular from Ae. caudata. The variety W76D distinguishes for such properties among investigated varieties of durum wheat. The homeology pairing between wheat and Ae. triuncialis chromosomes is going in hybrids. It depended from the wheat genotype and, at smaller degree, from cytoplasm of Ae. triuncialis. The unusual quantity of chromosomes found in backcross generation.
