Object of the research is development procedure of Program of Radiation Protection for Unit Shelter . Subject of the research is the complex of organizational activities required within the framework of Unit Shelter SIP project with objective to provide nuclear and radiation safety during operations and observation of regulatory as well as legislative requirements in the field of radiation and environmental protection. The work objective is to develop Program of Radiation Protection, which will serve as a basic document for the Unit Shelter personnel with objective to provide radiation safety and to define the procedure of operations and the criteria for safe conduction of activities at the Unit Shelter. Method of the research includes analysis of the legislative and regulatory base, standards, documents of recommendation and methodical guidelines of regulatory bodies, operating company documentation related to provide radiation protection, data regarding the possibility of impact of radiation-dangerous factors during activities associated with Unit Shelter stabilization and transformation into ecologically safe condition. The result of this work is the Program of Radiation Protection that determines basic approaches to provision of radiation protection both during implementing SIP and current operation of Unit Shelter.
