It is established: the requirement to reduce the cost of explosives has stipulated change to explosive of local preparation; the safety requirements to handling with explosives have resulted in basic change of their formulations, in which nonexplosive components are widely used; the elaboration and implementation of new explosives changes in essence technology of blasting rocks in opencasts. Influence of component structure of explosives without TNT on their thermodynamic and detonation properties is investigated, the estimation of their functionability and technical efficiency is carried out, the calculations conducted within the framework of zonal model of explosion have confirmed technical efficiency of these explosives while matching their action in solid rocks with industrial explosive grammonite 79/21 on the dimensions of grinding zones, destruction and camouflet cavity. The technology of blasthole loading with explosives without TNT with usage of polyethylene sleeves is based, which ensures the increase of operating ratio of energy of detonating, eliminates chemical impurity of territory that is adjacent to opencast mine, decreases the dimensions of grinding zone of rock and zone of seismic blast action.
