Complex open electrodynamical structures, dynamical randomness in radio-physical systems. Research Purpose. Modeling of wave diffraction processes in complex open structures, development of effective oscillators, amplifiers and frequency converters. Research Methods. Analytical regularization of diffraction theory problems, examination of processes during electron beam interaction with the electrodynamical system field, analysis of nonlinear dynamical systems. Results. The diffraction vector problem of a grating with a layered medium of magnetodielectric and chiral layers at elliptically polarized wave incidence has been solved. Experimental constructions of the diffraction radiation oscillator with a 100-W output power have been realized, a low-voltage 8-mm magnetron has been designed. Apperance of random oscillations in microstrip multiresonance Gunn-diode systems has been understood. Randomization of oscillations in complex electrodynamical structures has received study.
