The interdisciplinary spaciousness of analysis required all-up usage of general and special method of researches. The given work is founded on baseline principles of objectivity, historicism, continuity, interrelation, general, individual and particular. The methods of analysis, synthesizing, system accumulation, comparison, and structure analysis were used. During analysis, the role of religious organizations is determined in becoming civil society in Ukraine. It is found out, that today the strong interrelation between church and civil society. is not established yet. The separate cases of the initiatives of church in a upholding of principles of the legal and social state, in protection of human rights and a society from actions of the state are only fixed. The results of analysis enable to determine features of attitudes of different religious organizations concerning the involvement in a system of civil society.
