M.I.Sitenko popup.description2 Analysis of the modern state of motor-vehicle accidents (MVA) and of the level of the first aid was done. Algorithm of the first aid with spinal trauma was developed for the first time. Modernization of the immobilization means was done also. New immobilization means for extremities of children and adolescents were developed (Patent of Ukraine). A new diagnostic manner of muscles ishemia and a portative device for diagnostic of this condition have been developed (Patent of Ukraine N 36581). Modernization of the first aid for causality on the highways using modern first aid sets, blood substitutes has been done. The advisability to patrol the roads with special GAI car and to treat casualties in specialized hospitals which situated near the roads has been proved. New diagnostic methods and technologic approaches for treatment of the hip and elbow injuries (Patent of Ukraine N 36870) has been developed. A new pin device for treatment of bone fractures in children and adolescents has beenproposed (Patentof Ukraine N 48805-aя and N55109-AЯ). Negative factors and drawbacks of modern system of the first aid have been revealed. Propositions for improvement of the first aid have been done.
