Objective - investigation of molecular mechanisms of radiofrequency (1750 - 1900 MHz, power flux dencity 0,9 mW/cm2) electromagnetic field effect on bioobjects. Methods of investigation - biophysical, biochemical, radiophysical, and mathematical, The literature review is given on the modern concepts of radiofrequency electromagnetic field effect on bioobjects. Human blood erythrocytes, model lipid and protein-lipid membranes were chosen as objects of investigation. UHF radiation at 1850 and 1900 MHz has been shown to have no significant effect on distribution of charged groups at the model membrane surface; spatial organization of protein-lipid complexes; protein conformation and physical state of the lipid phase. Erythrocyte rigidity and shape had not changed after 5-, 15- and 25- minute UHF irradiation at 1850 MHz. At the same time the alteration of intensity of free radical processes have been proved to occure at the lowest expositions to UHF radiation ( 5 min).
