Methods: socio-economic analysis of relationship between life expectancy and living standards; socio-gerontological inquiry using the International Instrument for QOL evaluation of older people LEIPAD. Major results: The concept of QOL for older people was formulated. The conceptual scheme of interrelation between basic objective factors influenced QOL on macro- and micro-levels was developed. There were evolved principal operational indices for monitoring of QOL of older population. The algorithm of integral adaptative age estimation was elaborated.
