Object of research - metal and other constructions of bridges, structures, polymer-composition materials for protection against corrosion, device for realization of ways of protection from corrosion. Subject of research - processes of corrosion of metal and other constructions of bridges, structures, processes and phenomena, which prevent corrosion. The purpose of work - generalization existing and development of new theoretical bases of continuation of service life of metal engineering structures which are taking place in an emergency condition, protection of structures against operational environments, forecasting of service life of maintained constructions of metal bridges and tunnels. Methods of researches: the review of existing representations, protective materials, ways of protection; a formulation of working hypotheses; the theoretical and experimental proof of hypotheses; their specification before theoretical representations. For maintenance of reliability of results at experimental researches are applied standard методьи of tests, and also physical-chemical, colloid-chemical, electrochemical methods of researches. The received results: - the rules of the theory of corrosion, corrosion resistance of materials and durability of constructions of engineering structures on a railway transportation are advanced, are theoretically proved and the physical and mathematical models of corrosion resistance, of adhesive strength, of etc. of materials in particular both durability of constructions and structures as a whole are experimentally confirmed; - the methods of an estimation of physical-mechanical and corrosion properties of materials, load-carrying ability of constructions, durability of sheetings are advanced during operation; - the principles and technique of definition of structure polymer-composition of the filled coverage with high protective qualities are developed, the mathematical models of their properties from structure are received, is developed coverage on a basis resin and pitch, modified by epoxy, mineral filler, including pigments; the protective qualities and durability developed coverage are confirmed by experimental researches and operational on an extent till 3 years by tests.
