The aim of the work is the optimization of joint pain treatment in osteoarthrosis of knee and hip joints by correction of joint cartilage and subchondral bone remodelling. The methodology is the clinical aprobation of intraarticular route of administration of non-specific activator of tissue metabolism such as actoveginum in combination with reflexotherapy. The intraarticular administration of actoveginum in comdination with reflexotherapy in osteoarthrosis of knee and hip joints has been shown to relief pain, normilize function of affected joints and slow down the progression of the disease. The intraarticular route of administration of non-specific activator of tissue metabolism in osteoarthrosis of knee and hip joints has been proposed for the first time. The results of the investigation were introduced in arthrology hospitals. The usage of developed method is recommended in treating of osteoartrosis of large joints inspesialized departments and in out-patients including family medicine departments. The region of usage of obtained results is medicine, particularly rheumatology, orthopedology, common practice. The significance of the work is defined by slowing down the progression of osteoarthrosis of large joints at the initial stages, reducing of treatment costs due to refusing from symptomatic rapid- acting drugs and preventing operative interventions in the future. Conclusion: the intraarticular route of actoveginum administration in osteoarthrosis of knee and hip joints at initial stages of disease obviates pain syndrome, normilizes joint function and slows down the progression of the disease. The improvement of the developed method owing to optimization of the dosage and frequency of intraarticular route of actoveginum administration is expected.
