The purpose of work - to elaborate theoretically optimal frame of complete collection fund of separate cultures and bunches of cultures to expand collection funds of ornamental plants, enrichment selection fund by the new donors and sources of the genetical information, to frame decorative varieties ornamental plants and to elaborate a range perspective for gardening of species, varieties and forms. The concept of optimal collection fund, bases of a periodization and nomenclature of process of a becoming of collections from the historical point of view, installation of fundamental types of collections on a level them reprezentative is designed.
