The aim of research is to study the history of Ukrainian parliamentarism at the West part of Ukraine during 1918-1939 based an archives, press of those days, analysis of scientific and memoirs literature. The methods of searching is the principles of objectivism and historism, solving scientific issues, there were used the methods of analysis, synthesis, descriptive and system-structural methods of generalization. The experience of the West Ukrainian parliamentarism of the first half of the twenty century (XX) enriched basics European principles of parliament, introduced Ukrainian society in the sphere of European political values, and it can be useful for deputiesof Supreme Council of Ukraine, modern political parties, social organizations and associations.
