During work the analysis of references is carried out (spent). the circle of researches is determined. the mathematical model for the description of functioning of system of grading of fabrics is constructed. By results of researches the breadboard model of laser system of grading of fabrics (LSGF) is developed. The offered laser system of automatic grading of rolled materials will allow to raise (increase) labour productivity considerably. Use of the integrated receiver of radiation will provide simplicity of a design and a wide dynamic range of a supervising signal. The system does not demand special conditions of operation.
