In the project are traced the main stages of appearance and development of Ukrainian national idea on the Ukrainian ethnical lands, the breakpoints of which were the collapse of Austro-Hungarian Empire and deliberated movements (1918-1919), the processes of state creation in Carpathian Ukraine (1938-1939), the movement for reution with Ukraine (1944-1945) and the events of the end of 80 th-beginning of 90 th, which lead to creation of the independent Ukrainan state.
