Objective: improvement of rehabilitation procedures concerning primary arterial hypertension (PAH) in adolescents as regards prophylaxis of complications on the basis of singling out prognostically unfavourable clinico-hemodynamic, neurohormonal and metabolic variations of the disease. Methods: epidemiologic, common clinical, psychologic, hormonal, biochemical, instrumental (ECG, PhCG, EchoCS, DoEchoCS, EchoSG, REG, ultrasound and transcranial dopplerograph). Theoretical and practical results and novelty. The concept of the mechanism of morphofunctional restructuring and of cerebral vessels status in PAH during puberty was given new light. 4 types of the heart restructuring and 4 variations of cerebral hemodynamics were determined. Certain peculiarities of their neurohumoral regulation, lipide metabolism and general hemodynamics were established. Unfavourable variations of PAH course were singled out considering the character of disorders in target organs and presence of aggressive risk factors. An algorithm of the treatment and prophylactic medical observation of adolescents with PAH was worked out. Effectivity: the results obtained will contribute to individually optimal prescription of antihypetensive therapy, rational prophylactic observation and hypertonic disease prevention.
