The system of nonininteracted small metal particles mimics the multi tips-emitters matrix. Semiconductor emitters covered by a thin metal film may be under mechanical stress because of the different temperature regimes. Effect of deformation upon emission properties of metal surface is very important. A shape of emitter can be arbitrary. At the first step we mimic a tip-emitter by a thin metallic whisker. We described the energetics of this object: quantum size effects in the 1D metallic systems, work function, ionization potential, force, conductance and contact potential difference.
