Aim of work: choice and geological basing of route of submerged cable laying for creation of island Zmeiny infrastructure and integration of Ukraine in global underwater telecommunication connection systems and receiving of profit on the international trafic market/ Methods of investigations and instalations: geological mapping of planning cable laing, gephysical, hydroacoustic and hydrophysical explore the ground, laboratory methods. During the expedition used modern navigation systems Furuno GP-80, GPS-500 Navigator, multiradial echosounder Simrad EK-500, proton towing magnetometr MBM-1, gravimetr "Geos-2", automatic STD-sound "Shick-3", standart geological equipment, ets. Results of investigations: as a result of complex geol-geophysical investigations submerged cable laing Sebastopol-islands Zmeiny and Karolino-Bugaz-slands Zmeiny and reconnoitre works in Aegean sea the stratigraphy and litology of sediments, facial situation, geomorphology and bottom's relief were studied. On basis of this matirials the main regularities of sedimantathions and physical properties dated. Geophysical characteristics of botton were studied, data of seismic situation and other anomal phenomenons were elucidated. This works were continued investigations of new cable laing of VOLS and studied of expluatations condition of working VOLS ITUR. Settings of work: information ensuring of working out of design documantation for submerged cable laying VOLS ocenological information.
