The antibodies were shown to recognize 31-47 peptide conjugated to a protein carrier both in immunoenzyme assay and in Western blot. The antibodies also bound with malignant mouse lymphocytes and human peripheral blood lymphocytes. They demonstrated functional activity in vivo by increasing the contents of soluble fibrin and active thrombin in the blood plasma of immunized animals.
