For the first time it was studied the character of changes in composition of lipids, free fatty acids, products of lipid peroxidation (LPO) at injection of cobalt, mercury and cadmium chlorides in liver on subcellular level. The association between action of heavy metals salts and atherogenous changes in aorta, heart, kidneys, lungs was proved. The increase of the level of nitrogen oxide stable metabolite - nitrite, against the background of LPO activation by cobalt chloridum or cycloheximide and capability of the prevention of the revealed changes by PF were revealed. The increase of nitrite and LPO products levels at stimulated hypertension of adult rats was considered as the factor of development of internal organs' lesions at hypertension. The protective action of nitric oxide, consisting in the nitrite level increase against the background of LPO processes progression limitation in patients with hypertension of the II and III degree, was shown.
