The available GIS data, petrophysical researches and tests with data of hydrocarbons inflow from weathering crust and softened zones of the basement have been analyzed with the purpose to develop the criteria of prognosis of hydrocarbons deposits in the weathering crust to work out the recommendations for further geological-geophysical researches. The criteria of detection of softened zones of the basement using GIS complex were worked out with application of waive acoustic logging service. The criteria of determination of porosity and content of main rock-forming minerals in the rocks of crystalline basement according to the data of the typical GIS complex were worked out as well. It was compiled the table of layouts of rocks of the crystalline basement on some areas (Khuhrianskaya, Chernetchinskaya, Yulievskaya)in the interval of the weathering crust of the basement of the Dnipro-Donets depression northern ledge with choosing of zones of clay grouting, leaching and disintegration with detail description of physical properties of rocks. The recommendations on application of complex of GIS methods during study of crystalline basement rocks were elaborated. Branch of utilization - geological prospecting.
