A research purposes are the study of the informative necessities of territorial public of Kiev city, and also determination of the informative requirements of different social layers of the citizens. Research methods - both mass questioning and expert questioning for empiric information being fulfilled in Kiev. Questioning on a sex-age characteristics of population was carried out in the form of standardizing interview (questionnaire). A tool for the expert questionnaire was used to receive data as estimations on a 7-ball scale from the informative specialists. The data processing foresaw wide application of methods of mathematical statistics, namely - cluster analysis, factor analysis and correlation analysis. Input the primary data, analysis of their authenticity, treatment and visualizations by graphic facilities were carried out by the software of informative and expert-analytical decision support (LOGOS). Research results were represented as an analyst report, where the graphs, charts are widely used for illustration of text material. The sphere of the use is the state administration.
