In particular, the p-median, localization and automatic classification problems are formulated, to which one reduces problems concerned with localization of mobile communication centers, communication network switchers, Internet oroviders and others. For the described problems, the method of local search with a variable neighborhood and the GRASP method are described. The global equilibrium search method is proposed that is used to solve the p-median problem. The developed methods allow to obtain qualitative solutions to complicated integer programming problems with objective function values close to optimal ones during a reasonable amount of time.. the comparative analysis of the computational experimental results shows that the proposed approach is advanced.
