The aim: studying light ions morphology and dynamics in topside ionosphere for solar-terrestrial physics fundamental investigations and ionosphere-plasmosphere interaction model development. The investigation method: ground-based radiophysical incoherent scatter radio waive method. The investigations made by Institute of Ionosphere in 2002 - 2004 are presented. Aspects of the morphology and ionospheric storm physics in F-region, kinds of ionospheric disturbances as well as possible cause of ionospheric storm positive and negative phase are considered. The novelty: on the base of measurement results according to International Geophysical Calendar the features of electron concentration, electron and ion temperatures, ion composition and drift velocity at quiet and disturbed conditions were investigated. Heat conditions, plasma transport processes were investigated as well as calculations of ionosphere-protonosphere flows during magnetic storms at solar activity decreasing were made. Multicomponent plasma charged particles height distribution under quiet and magnetodisturbed condition over Ukraine was analyzed. The area (branch) of application: the fundamental investigations of solar-terrestrial connections, ionospheric modeling under geomagnetic disturbances.
