The influence of contact of noble metal on stoichiometry of zirconia and influence of initial stoichiometry of zirconia on wetting of it by noble metal melt were revealed. These phenomena were explained by dissolving of zirconium from substrate in melt. The kinetic and possibilities of these processes were studied.
