Purpose of the research: to work out new scientifically substantiated techniques of improving the efficacy of radiation therapy in cancer patients by means of individualization, taking into consideration the evaluation of molecular-genetic and homeostatic peculiarities of the organism with the use of directed apoptosis induction and concomitant therapy. Results and their novelty: The efficacy of chemoradiotherapy with Taxotere in patients with breast cancer and stage IIB-IIIB lung cancer was proven. According to the clinical instrumental studies, it was established that regression of the primary focus made up 50% against a background of accumulation of ceramide (apoptosis inductor) in the tumors, which was proven by morphological signs of apoptosis and elevation of apoptosis index. For the first time, significant dysbalance of pro-antioxidant system, elevation of blood atherogenicity and dyslipidemia development, disorders in the balance of hemostatic and fibrinolytic activity with the presence of DIC-syndrome during radiation therapy were shown. Two types of deadaptation disturbances were distinguished as to the data of cortisol, insulin, B-endorphin amount as well as 5 types of immunograms of patients with breast cancer and uterine body cancer before the treatment were distinguished. Their changes during radiation therapy were studied. The methods of concomitant therapy at the stages of radiation therapy with the use of Carinate and Bipolan were worked out. The findings of the research were introduced to the work of Radiology Institute (Academy of Medical Science of Ukraine) and Kharkiv Regional Cancer Hospital.
