Results and their novelty: The novelty of the research is in the study and systematization of the parameters of the state of innovation activity of the institutions of Academy of Medical Science of Ukraine, the findings of questioning and world experience of technology transfer. A system of intellectual property management was substantiated. The work evaluates the peculiarities of patent research in medicine, including reporting about patent research, technico-economical indices of some kinds of inventions; a scientific methodological basis for realization of the system of commercialization of the findings of scientific research, which contains the rules of processing the institutional objects of intellectual property, commercial secrete, registration of the institutional object of the author's right, and account of objects of intellectual property, was prepared; web-site "Innovation medicine" was created, the capability of access to it was provided. Degree of introduction: The findings of the research were used to organize three seminars, published in 19 works: a manual, institutional instruction on the obligatory measures of management of the objects of intellectual property in the institute of Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine. Nine reports on 6 conferences devoted to the problems of intellectual property and innovation activity were made. Recommendations about the use of the findings of the research: the authors give recommendations as to continuation of the research and working out regulating documentation.
