The complex of diagnostic investigations (CT, MRI, transcranial Doppler ultrasonography, SPECT) was used. Also we studied the correlation of clinical and Doppler ultrasonography data with results of pathomorphologic pathodhisiologic investigations of brain parenchyma in 20 patients who died after severe focal traumatic brain injury. The obtained data demonstrate high diagnostic value of SPECT use in acute period of traumatic brain injury. Its high sensitivity in brain perfusion changes estimation. The results of research show that neurological, psychoneurological deficiency is correlated with focal structural changes revealed by CT and MRI, brain perfusion characteristics. The estimation of obtained data allows objective assessment of brain structural and functional changes in patients with traumatic brain injury, adequate drug correction, increase of treatment efficiency.
