The new variety of soft winter wheat for steppe ecotype "Oda" provides for average 70,3 centners/ha yield on different forecrpos. This exeeds the yield of standard variety by 10,8-21,7 centners/ha. The variety is medium-high and adapted for the extreme conditions of Ukrainian Steppe. The drought-resistance is 4,5 points, lie-down resistance - 4,7 points, seed falling-down resistance - 5 points. The baking quality is high: protein content - 14,4%, gluten - 36,0%, total baking rating - 4,5 points. This exeeds standard ratings by 0,23; 6,2; 0,5 respectively.
