Malaya of Ukrainian Academy of Medical Sciences" popup.description2 As a result of the completed investigations microbial flora of stomach and duodenum has been studied in patients with chronic gastritis B and duodenal peptic ulcer as well as their influence on clinical and morphological manifestations of these diseases. It has been proved that, in addition to Helicobacter pylori (Hp), antral stomach department of these patients has a rich species diversity of microflora. Microorganisms are presented mainly by Gram-positive as well as conditioned pathogenic bacteria. Effects of probiotics on stomach and small intestine microbiocenosis have been studied. It has been reveled that preparations with probiotic action have an inhibitory effects on Hp and accompanying microflora of stomach and duodenum, promote more efficacious Hp eradication. On this basis effective schemes of antihelicobacter therapy have been worked out with the use of probiotic agents due to which Helicobacter pylori eradication took place, that, in turn, enables avoiding of disease relapses and reduces side effects of therapy.
