Malaya of Ukrainian Academy of Medical Sciences" popup.description2 169 patients with myocardial infarction (MI), 12 patients with stable angina of effort of II-III functional classes (group of comparison) and 19 practically healthy subjects (control group) have been investigated. All patients were undergone electrocardiography in rest, long-term arterial pressure and ECG monitoring, chest roentgen-TV, quantitative two-dimensional echocardiography, standard blood biochemistry and urinalysis, immune-biochemical blood investigations. It has been established that acute coronary syndrome is accompanied with enhancement of myocardial inflammatory processes, depending on the size of myocardial injury. It is proved that the increase of inflammation markers' levels - cytokines and CRP- correlates with the level of myocardial necrosis index - CPK MB-fraction. In patients with ST-segment elevation the maximal increase of the levels of all investigated cytokines and CRP in comparison with those in patients without ST-segment elevation. In patients with unstable angina only the increase of IL and TNF-alfa has been reveled. Measurements of IL and CRP levels in patients with acute coronary syndrome during hospitalization makes in possible to fulfill differential diagnostics of MI without Q-wave and unstable angina.
