The object of investigation is adsorbed lithium and copper films on tungstem and molibdenum facets (112). The target of the work is the clarification of basic physical regularities of directed electron motion influence on surfsce diffusion processes of adsorbed atoms in phase-nonhomogeneous films on macrocrystal facets with anisotropic atomic structure and the developing of the operation methods of phenomena connected with surface diffusion. The method of study is measuring of local value of work function changes during adsorption and surface diffusion with contact difference of potentials method. The automatized system of information accumulation and control has been developed. It has been shown, that pronounced phase character is observed in surface diffusion of lithium. Diffusion formation has been for the first time found in first two lithium monolayers caused with phase second-order transitions.
