A decline of visual acuity in comparison with age norm was established in the cases with refractive (30,9%), disbinocular (5,8%), "cortex" (21,3%), or mixed (21,8%) amblyopia. 22,1% of cases of amblyopia were accompanied by partial atrophy of optic nerve. Efficiency of pleoptic treatment of amblyopia depended on the initial visual acuity, presence or absence of pathology of eye fundus, volume of procidures.
