Methods of research include: immunoenzyme detection of anti-CMV antibodies ant its avidity; chain polymerase reaction, immunophenotyping of peripheral blood cells, serum antibodies concentration by immunodiffusion, biochemical methods; mathematics and statistical. Eqipment: fluorimeter-nephelometer Sumal-PE2 (Germany), centrifuges, laser cytofluorimeter FACScan (Becton Dickinson, USA), termocycler (Eppendorf, Germany), inverted microscopes Sedival, Opton (Germany). The influence of persistence CMV-infection on development of somatic diseases in affected persons in remote period after Chernobyl catastrophe first time is investigated. The frequency of a prevalence ofan infection among the clean-up workers, reconvalescents of acute radiation disease, inhabitants of areas of Ukraine, contaminated by radionuclides in comparison with control groups is analysed. The algorithm for definition of activity of CMV-infection is developed, the frequency and clinical signs of an active infection are established. The modifying influence of CMV on activation of hepatitis C virus, chronic gastritis, chronic obstructive bronchitis, diabetes mellitus, coronary disease is revealed. The state of a oxidative homeostasis and it connection with immunological reactivity of patients is analysed. The criterions for formation of patient's groups for conduction of therapy directed on reduction to CMV activity are proposed. The efficiency of interferonogenesis inductors in complex anti-CMV therapy is shown. As results of work eight papers are published, the application for the patent is made out, the methodical recommendations are given and the manuscript of the monography is prepared.
