Aim - to improve immediate and remote results of treatment of the most frequent mediastinal neoplasms with the help of optimisation of diagostics and treatment tactics. It is shown, that realization of adjuvant polychemotherapy (APOC-scheme) and a radiotherapy in case of stage III malignant thymoma prolongs terms of relapse occurrence and increases 3-year survival rate. Reduction of a tumour value and marking of its borders in case of mediastinal non-hodgking lymphoma during biopsy with the subsequent chemo-radiotherapy raises probability of full regress of a tumour, average duration of remission and 3-year survival rate in comparison with patients in which surgical treatment was not carried out.
