The experimental research employed the hardware-software complex of the vibration monitoring system used at turbine unit T-250/300 operating at the Kyiv cogeneration plant TETz-5. The influence of certain defects on the vibration characteristics of a specific turbine unit, and of the temperature fields and design parameters on the thermal-stress state of elements was analysed. The techniques of analyzing the thermal-stress and vibration state of turbo machine elements were developed. The effectiveness of the techniques was proved by experimental research.
