The Statement of the nonlinear inverse problem is given and uniqueness of its solution is shown. Is shown that in case of distortion of a thin mirror by gravitation forces the neglect of geometric nonlinearity leads to an overbalance of displacements on the magnitude essential in optics. A clamped structure to be a ring is considered as a thin elastic bar of a rectangular cross section. It is shown that a ring stiffness influences essentially on the mirror flexibility. An algorithm for a ring parameters identification on the base of measurements of mirror deflections under the own weight was suggested. Parameters to be identify and their number depending on the mirror thickness were determined. The accuracy of the suggested algorithm was shown.
