The basic features of their reactions with phosphorus nucleophiles were elucidated. Biologically important functionalized aminophosphonic acids derivatives were synthesized. The clarified effects of substituents in the azaalkene and phosphorus reagent on the reactivity are the basis for purposeful control of regioselectivity of the processes.
