Methods of an investigation: potentiometric titration of carboxylic cationites by sodium and calcium ions; calculation of obtained experimental data by the method of smallest square. Basic results: Ionic balance of own- and two-charged cations onto porous and gel polyacrylic carboxylic cation exchangers were researched. It was proved that the strong dependence of the effective equilibrium constants of sorption of Na+ ions by the H-form of carboxylic cationites on the resinate solurion composition. It was established that the effective equilibrium constants of sorption of Ca2 + ions by the Na-form of carboxylic cationites are constant. The theoretical model allowing to describe the ionic balance H+ - Na+, Na+ - Ca2+ upon carboxylic cationites with high accuracy were worked up.
