The zirconium base getter alloys was smelted. The samples of low alloy steel with Zr getter additions were smelted. It is shown, that at introduction to the construction material of getter additions, there are the traps of hydrogen, which have high energy of interaction with hydrogen and effectively absorb him in the interval from the room temperatures to 400°C. As a result of this the hydrogen dissolved in a metal loses diffusive mobility and is eliminated from the embrittlement process. The creation of such class of materials with getter addition will allow decreasing the negative influencing of hydrogen in the construction materials of nuclear reactors. By means the methods of ionic implantation, thermal desorption spectrometry, nuclear-physical methods (nuclear reactions) the mechanism of behavior of the ionic-implanted hydrogen in the zirconium base getter alloys was investigated.
